e-Governance Administrative Automation
Designed and implemented a statewide Complaints Redressal Management System under the control of the office of the Chief Minister, State Government of Bihar.
- Currently deployed for the Bihar Public Grievance Redressal System and the Janta Ke Darbar Mein Mukhyamantri program.
- Powers complaint redressal centers across all state districts.
- Designed to scale to handle petition processes down to the local Panchayat level.
Secure Payment Systems
Engineering robust architectures for high-throughput, low-latency financial transaction switches.
- Payment Gateway: Redesigned, implemented, and operated one of India's largest online payment gateways.
- Credit Card Processing: Developed and deployed an ISO8583 Transaction and Settlement switch for a major bank and payment provider.
- Value-Added Services: Designed a value-added services switch platform for a large pan-India payment aggregator.
Enterprise Infrastructure & Migrations
Migrating corporate environments to high-reliability Open Source configurations.
- Mail Server Migration: Migrated a 50+ domain corporate email network (MERAK server) onto Sendmail and Cyrus IMAP for a US-based e-mail service provider.
- Novell Netware Migration: Re-engineered a South Mumbai law firm's network, migrating it from Novell Netware to a Fedora-based client-server design.
- Terminal Thin Clients: Designed and supported a thin-client network (Fedora-based with DosEMU to run legacy FoxPRO/WS6 applications) for legal operations.
CRM & ERP Customizations
Deploying open enterprise software tools for business process integration.
- Customized and rolled out a web-based dual ERP/CRM suite containing POS, accounting, payroll, general ledger, and staff self-service modules for a software development MNC.
- Implemented a proof-of-concept Java-based CRM system for the Indian arm of one of the world's largest container shipping lines (CMA-CGM).
- Developed a campus-wide asset tracking database focused on IT hardware assets for a Deemed University.
